Becoming Catholic - OCIA

What is ocia?

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process whereby adults enter the Catholic Church. The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit offers OCIA classes not only for those considering becoming Catholic but also anyone interested to know more about our Catholic beliefs, traditions, and spiritual life. These classes review the basic Gospel message, as well as the Trinity, the existence of God, understanding the Bible, the Sacraments, and more complex topics like life and sexuality issues and Catholic social teaching.
